Classes
Group classes are offered in Whitmore Lake at the training building located at the Doghouse.
One on one
Start or continue your scent journey with your dog in one-on-one private sessions. These can be held in your home or another location to be agreed upon. Check our scheduling page for more info!
Sport Search and Rescue
Choose Area, Tracking, or Trailing
Sport search and rescue is a fun scent-based game to play with your dog! Using real search and rescue training methods based on Adrienne's 20+ years as a search and rescue dog handler, you and your pup will enjoy fun games while learning new skills.
In area search, dogs are taught to find any human that may be in the area. This is also called wilderness airscent training, as it is used to find people lost in wilderness settings.
For tracking or trailing, dogs are taught to find a specific person based on presentation of a scent article. This is "bloodhound" searching just like you've seen on television and in movies!
You don't have to pick just one, you can try out different types each week. Adrienne can also offer suggestions based on your dog's personality and working style.
